Ego 08 leaking issues - Help!

Hi Guys,

I got a brand new Ego 08 for xmas!!

I took it out of the box, read the quick guide and the instructions then gassed up with air. Everything was fine through a full hopper.

I went away for some xmas din and came back, regassed the marker to find a hissing (leaking) noise coming from the inside the middle of the marker body. I checked all lines and LPR etc and everything was fine.

I then separated the trigger cage from the marker body as per the manual to find the hissing was coming from the curved singular clear hose where it connects to the black box (solonoid).

Is this a common fault with an easy fix? or an easy fix??!

I have yet to send off my warranty card to eclipse and they are not open until the 5th Jan..... HELP!

Any ideas?

try undoing the grip screws slightly a friends 08 did this and the screw was pushing on the noid pipe

Its the other end!

Its coming from the other side ( not the side with the two, parallel hoses) Its the clear hose on its own towards the barrel end where it joins the black solonoid box!

May sound Daft, but try pushing the hose on a little further, from the picture - although it is hard to see. The hose just needs to clear the bump, that will confirm a secure fit.

check the barb is tight, that's the bit the hose goes on.

Actually, there is a bit of play on the barb,

How do i tighten it?

it's threaded so turn it clockwise like a screw.

m8 if its brand spanking new its planets problem not yours, so send it back .. could be a faulty noid
