ego 08 and pulse

hi folks havin a problem with my ego 08 used it at the first pa event without the rf chip but used the pulse loader and worked fine on RED, in the second pa event i fitted the rf chip linked it up 2 the ego on GREEN but when i used it it only shoot about 20/30 balls then it stops? iv changed the batterys in the hopper and gun. i spoke 2 one ov the tecs at planet who advised me 2 check the aux was switched on! this was done and i tried it again but still having the same problem iv used the pulse and chip with my ego 05 and never had a problem whould b greatfull 4 any advise given its driving me mad

yeh my friend had the same problem,
he had used brand new procells. but he then baught some different batteries and it worked fine.

so just try new batteries, those that you have put in may have been dodjey (if thats how you spell it)

I had the exact same problem.

MY THEORY:

Sadly, the RF chip cannot communicate with the pulse properly in both 07 and 08 due to position of the chip whilst inside the limited spaced grip.

On the 05 there is loads of room to put it and little in the way of the RF signal to the Pulse, in the 07 / 08 the signal seems to be much weaker when it gets to the pulse.

I spent about 2 hours trying to find a good position in the grip but it never worked 100% of the time (when leaned to the right it stopped sometimes, when pointed down it stopped etc...)

Long story short I bought a new hopper.

Hopefully what I have said can be proved (as it is a theory and not fact! ) wrong but if you bring the RF chip out of the grip and position it under the loader it works 10/10, its only when its in the grip where it works 50% of the time.

Never had any problems with my 07 and the RF chip.

Try different batteries in both the pulse and the 08,Procell seem to be the 'daddy' 0f 9V's

thanks 4 the replys, like i said iv changed the batterys on both twice duracell m3 and pro cell, but still the same looks like il have 2 get a new hopper. thanx 4 ur help and advise.

take chip out and put it next to the loader like I said, thats what made me decided the signal was too weak.

are you sure it is synced

also are you using the aux port on the board or the noid part.

mine on my 08 is perfect
