After a look in the manual i couldn't see if or how one restores the default settings on the board?
Does anyone know how?

What do you mean explain? do you mean, why is it an optical trigger opposed to a switch? Theres usually a small back button on the board that you hold down to reset the board.

If you still have trouble you can always talk to the guys at eclipse, they are superb..

to reset to factory settings simply choose one of the present modes. Ie. semi/nppl/psp and it will set factory settings for what one you choose.

Optical trigger is basicallly an analog input so for debounce its always going to be better than a digital microswitch.

Set up the trigger the way you like it, choose optical trigger in teh hardware part of the menu then fire it with paint and if its bouncey. Simply adjust the debounce up one level.

You dont have to use the TT filter, jsut use the present debounce settings.
thats why they are there for.

When i have it set to the optical trigger it won't register a pull? I don't understand the band hi & low settings, which i believe set the op trigger?
