EGO 06 loss of power problem..........HELP !!

Hi guys

my problem is my EGO 06,
was shooting ok but getting a drop in power after about 20-30 balls fired for 3-4 balls then would come back up in power again, so stripped it down cleaned a lubed everything,
when i stripped the LPR i found the piston had been put in the wrong way round, so rebuilt it the right way, rebuilt whole gun and took it to chrono again, all was sweet chrono'd to 280,176,275,278, or there about but no power drop off's,
well take it out to do some drills in the garden the following day and after about 30 balls it dropped in power to the point it was just about hitting the fence 10 foot away.
I've tried, another LPR and HPR and it's still doing the same, so Next changed the solenoid and its still doing the same, any ideas what i can try next

thx wolfie

May sound really stupid...but have you changed the battery? because my ego did the same thing and was down to the battery.

when you screw in the on/off knob on the ASA to air up the marker, back the screw out a little.
The pin in some branded regs are a fraction longer than others, and get pushed in too far, restricting the air flow to the marker.

May not be the case, but try it.

checked the ASA, all fine there, tried 4 different tanks with the same results, however i've just stripped the HPR again and notice that the tip where it meet the adjuster has bevelled over this may be the problem, so i just put the HPR from my etek onto the 06 and its shooting better wont chrono over 200 but think thats just down to the reg being different setup inside, so next hunt is for a reg piston for the 06, thanks for you help guys, will keep post updated :)

yes mate, always use Duracell plus, and just to make sure i've been and got 2 new ones this morning just in case and got same result, but after stripping the reg again and finding the damage to the piston i think that could be the problem, if the adjuster was not doing it job right then the pressure would be wrong at all points round the gun i would have thought? i'm no tech so i'm just guessing lol and dont have the cash to send it in to be sorted :( and i believe planet dont stock parts for ego's this old please correct if i'm wrong
