I bought a tatty 06 as a fixer upper today. Got it home, and it's not firing - tried the usual; new battery (2x just in case), cleaned and lubed the rammer, reset all settings to factory, adjusted both the LPR and HPR.
The solenoid clicks away merrily, but the rammer only twitches forward slightly, not cycling fully.

Any ideas?

Change the orings on the rammer. #11 #9 (only a bumper so not necessary but, still worthwhile) and #8

Sorry - forgot to say thanks for the suggestions! Everything has been played with except rammer o-rings, which are in the post. Fingers crossed, as I'm falling a bit in love with the thing...

Right - o-ring kit arrived, and the rammer has a full set on new ones, still not hitting the valve. Doing my head in really!

Will wait a couple of weeks until I've got time to strip it right back to parts and clean/changed/lube everything.

Thought folks might be interested in how I eventually fixed this one up. Turned out the problem was the rear QEV - when I tripped the frame off, it turned out the top thread was cracked and loose, allowing air to piss out the back of the frame whenever fired, and weakening the forward stroked of the ram.
The fix was a bit ghetto - the only QEVs I could track down were in the states, so I broke the thread off totally, and superglued a couple of small o-rings onto the top of the QEV block. When you tighten the frame down onto it, it all seals up and works perfectly.
