Ego 06 Barrel

ok, in the process of buying an 06 ego. My question is:

what is the stock barrel like and if i were to upgrade it, what would i get instead? Shaft/ boomstick/ ultralite/ something else?

also, any other upgrades you would recomend?

the shaft aint a bad barrel.but i find ego owners dont match paint to barrel.so as long as you have a good match.dont really matter which.lemon has used a .689 most of the year.and had better results.than with the .693 shaft.so get one standard ultra lite and your shaft.

I've found the standard 06 barrel to be just fine as well, whacked a stiffi on a couple of times but it wasn't as good, though there is a high chance that it was a little too small for the paint.
