Ego 05

I recently sold an Ego 05 that was in perfect working order...

The guy doesn't live too far away from me so I picked it up... I'm getting it looked at by someone who knows their stuff but what could cause the following;

Inconsistency
Missing shots (10 trigger pulls only 4 shots for example)
Then when he turned the dwell (up or down i don't know) the hose popped off the solenoid

When I sold it I took the tadao board out which is what i used... but the standard board before I swapped for the tadao worked perfectly anyways...

And I ain't happy that he ain't happy... to be honest, which I can understand but I can get loads of people to vouch to prove that this gun worked perfectly before it was sold... I even delivered it to his house so no postman could of bashed it around

Did you have a look at the optical switch? it may have been dirty.

Personally I haven't done anything, I'm not a techy boy I was just wondering, but cheers

Missing shots is most likely dirt on the optical trigger switch.

Best way to set it up is to factory reset the board first to zero all the settings.

If still having trouble send it to Planet for them to sort, excellent support for EGO owners.

Hi Tony I had a look at the weekend and all Icould see was a bit of paint behind the trigger, this could be the cause of the missed shots

As for the hose popping off the solanoid just push it back on mate and see if it works

or the trigger pull may not be far enough,or it will hit the odd time cause inconsistency

the o ring on the front qev came out, the hose didnt fall off it was one of sid and my mates said the thought it was the hose, i was the one that bought it, thanks tonee, glad to see a seller careing now-a-days. this guy is a saint, he had it fixed and is dropping it off in person, ALL BUY OFF TONEE,
