Ego 05

I have a 05 ego thats mint not shot a lot,I was looking to get a XSV but I cant get one due to being unable to sell my marker so i was wondering if its work upgrading my ego with 06 star frame etc and make it just as good as a xsv if not better.
Also is there anywhere that i would be able to pick up a XSV body
and what upgrades would you lot recommend
Also If i deside to keep it i will get it reannodized by sloth

You cant Buy an XSV body.
You could get someone to mill something into your body.
A cutom anno job is always nice and makes the gat look special.
There are a few decent upgrades, but you should remember that teh only special thing about an XSV ego (not that it is any less special!) is teh body...teh rest can be got anywhere.

if u have an 05 star frame, u wont need a 06 one, if u dont, i honestly would but a tadao board, a nexus bolt, and c-lever, good barrel set and just love your ego, there isnt that much difference between them all, they are all the nuts

Does the board make a big diffrence due to most torneys over here being capped at 15 bps
Also a freak barrel/dye 2 peicer or a stiffi
I just have the standard 05 frame im sure.
Also what would the 06 star frame do apart from allow me to run 06 boards.

i use 2pce shaft for planet, but alot of peep rave about dye ultralite, i also have a freak as a backup. not sure on stiffi's

the board adds a microswitch, which i prefer, and multiple fire modes, and cool knightrider leds, which makes it easier to see probs mid game.

06 frame just makes it harder to get coloured triggers, i would get an 05 star frame imo, as they accept 05 triggers and boards, and the feel is awesome

If you want a good barrel try the CP 2 piece, has a better finish on the inside of the barrel and the UL, have not compared them but own both. They are also dead cheap at £30 new in dust black.
