Ego '05 vs '07

I was looking to upgrade from an '05 to an '07.
But the price of the newer model makes me wonder if it would be wiser to spend the money on upgrading the '05.
I think upgrading would bring it up or above the level of the std '07 obviously depending on the upgrades.
I've had it for about 18 months and it's never let me down,apart from consistency(soon sorted) there are no issues.
Running std board with 1.08 software,dart bolt,ccu kit,unitec.

had an 05 and loved it, since having an 07 the 05 just feels sh!t. It's much lighter, feels nicer in the hand and because it isn't as high it feels more "pointy" as eclipse describe it. Board is all you will ever need unless you play NXL, has reliability of all egos, nice stock trigger, nice barrel but un1tec is better. Easy to maintain just like all other egos. You wont be let down if you get one

The 07 feels more comfortable in the hand compared to the 05, not as bulky and suprisingly thin when you first hold it

you should get an 08, they are sweet, think of them as an 07+++++++. with the sound of an 05,06,sl66.

and a bargain for a stupidly light gun, with those credentials

07 with zick, will be so close to an 08 you wont notice, and you can pick one up for really good money now.

as for being different to an 05, i also had an 05 and thought at the time it couldn't be bettered and now the 07 has just blown it into the weeds.

ive recently got rid of my upped 05 *your old 05 tiffer* and bought an ego 07 from dusty's mate. the weight difference is noticable straight away, much nicer to hold, kick is reduced, looks the mutts nutts.

i am considering the same thing tiffer i was so close to putting my 05 on here but i thought .... "why not just do it up for cheeper" ?

am not shore what am going to do yet tho hopfully this thread will help me decide...
