Ego 05 ripping through air :S

I bought an ego 05 off here a few weeks ago and it shoots like a dream

Only having 1 problem atm...

I am using a 3000psi steel tank and the ego is going through about 1000psi just for 1 hoppers worth :S

I got advised to upgrade to a 4500psi tank for reasons i didnt realy understand lol

Just wondered if there was an explination to my problem and a way to solve it

Tuning or a new tank

sounds like it could be the qev, the little red box inside the marker the diaphrams wear and air escapes they ar'nt expensive but they are difficult to get hold of in the uk, my advice get a tech to look at it maybe just paintball can help.

about the bottle a 3000 steelie should last for 2-3 hoppers at least unless the reg is playing up can you try a m8's bottle to compare?

if your getting 3 hoppers worth on a 3000 steelie i'd say its fine
