Ego 05 - pressure dropping off?

Hi
my o5 has always been superb apart from the last time i used it. The site i went to tested the firing pressure and even with the reg screwed all the way out it would shoot 250 ish on the first shot and then drop to 130 ish there after.

any idea's on what causing this please.

It did that to me when I had mine and in (my case) it was a dud 9v even thou it was new ! I tried another one and it was 100% fine and dandy

Alternatively try lubing the reg, and rammer

your first step (as pointed out) would be to replace the battery with a fresh good quality one

if that doesn't work then take the rammer out clean it and put a drop of oil on each of the o rings

failing that strip the HPR and LPR clean and re lube the o rings using some grease (if you have it) or the gun oil should work fine, set the LPR screw so that it's about half a turn in from flush with the LPR housing

also might be best to reset the board to factory standard to rule out any dwell issues
