Everyone has so many views but it always comes down to one thing, try them both out then decide.

Ego, its easy to maintain, pretty hard to break, no nonsense balling

shocker, take's a bit more knowlegde, easy to maintain once you get use to them, shoot so much nicer than any open bolt marker.

Personel choice,shoot both and see what you like.

Myself,I cannot stand egos and think they are one of the most over rated markers ever made but that is only my opinion and I know I am in the minority as 90% of the sheep on the forum love egos.

Try before you buy ,goto a walkon or a training venue and ask to have a go on each marker then make your choice.

Good advice you do need to shoot them both i would say the ego is a better marker if you are new to the sport or not very technically minded cause it would be easier to tech than a shocker. Just my opinion.

hey guys thanks for helping pfft i know fcuk all about guns i just get evrey one to sort it out for me and i pay them i like egos but this is what im thinking getting a shocker as i havn't got too much money now and in about 2months trade sft 06 for ego 05 and i add a bit of cash what do you think guys

I currently shoot an ego but still like the shocker, I prefer the ego but that is what I have gotten used to so as with every "which gun should I get" try them out for a game or even longer if you can.
