ok, got my trix etc, but i dont want to make it less efficient by changing the switches to slow it down so i dont chop with my z board eggy, just wanted peoples opinions on Halos...
weight doesnt matter, but im talkibg about balancing, ball capacity etc i like to refill when i have about 20/30 balls left...can i do this with a halo?

I went from using a Ricochet 2k to the HALO, and I have to tell ya, it really wasn't any adjustment. You can definitely refill with 20-30 balls left, even even 40. Weighs a ton, so does the egg, that's how it goes when you try to pack a frickin' jet engine into a hopper to feed the balls faster. As far as balance, I hate the egg with a passion because it sits too high, too far back, is too wide, and generally looks like ****e on my (and just about any) marker. My HALO is much better for balance on my angel, can't speak for all markers, AND the profile is more like the revvy/ricochet than like the lunar lander that is the egg. Either/or, I'd go for the HALO hands down.

On a Matrix you should be able to set your BP longer and leave your FP alone. That would slow down the ROF without affecting efficiency.

As far as balance, on a Timmy or Matrix, I like the Evo better. I have had so many problems with broken shells and batteries dropping out that I don't use them often these days.

As far as the reloading before you're out part, I find Halos almost too small for that. It is my biggest gripe with Halos, actually.

i swore by a halo till i had a bad burst in one....you aint getting it cleaned out in a rush!
weight isnt a prob they sit nice on top of even a super light marker like mine
they are certainly fast enough
when filling up i did tend to always loose a few in the pot rather than risk completely emptying my hopper

best bet is to try one out

im swapping to an egg mainly due to the cleaning of a halo being a bugger, although i am toying with the idea of a warp...but that will only get expencive as ill end up getting a warp body made!

i cleaned a halo the other day...... oh man it was complicated! i was actually really chuffed that i managed to put it back together:) its just crap that if you wanna clean the feedneck and tray, you have to take EVERYTHING apart!
Eggies- the way they sit really annoys me - too far back, but they are easy to clean.
