yours for the expensive cost of 4 spare pc screws, 2 spare bottle o rings, an 1/8th drill bit and 4 blobs of super glue.

As pointed out in another thread, get some press on battery clips from maplin and wire those in instead of the standard pressure fit idea - at least if the egg door does open or break off the batteries drop out but stay connected so the hopper still works (well apart from when you use a cocker and the battery wedges between the back block and the body!!!)

As for the colouring to get a decent blue I used RIT dye, for some reason dylon wouldn't colour it (red was ok but not blue!)

I drilled four holes, two in the body and two on the battery door, on opposite sides of the shell, and use cable ties to keep the battery door on

edit: his might be better as every time I replace the batteries I have to replace a tag, whereas he just puts the o-ring back on

but mine is simpler- your choice :D

how to make it faster, there are loads of threads do a search

most common mod is just taking out the raceway which increases amount of paint you can carry by about 20

speed mods are things like the lolly stick mod, or some people have tried different servos or motors from RC cars
