The spring has 2 legs, one is bent one is straight.
The straight leg goes into a little hole in the lid and the bent one goes into a little hole in the shell.
Only way to do it is to get the straight leg in first then sit the bent leg into the hole in the shell.
They can only go in one way round.
If you get them on the wrong side, the bent leg will point away from the body.
