in theory its meant to make it faster as more balls can drop into it ad stuff

it does seem faster. I found when you get down to the last few balls they don't bounce around as much. I have done some drop testing and some on gun testing with two paddles left on and original impeller and found there to be no noticable difference in feed rate over a full hopper!

the theory is that with all the paddles there when the blades spin the balls dont have time to drop between them, so by removing some you give the balls more space and thereforetime to drop into place thus making the feed faster.

The other thing to try is to get an original Egg paddle the hard plastic type and use that as it is in place of the rubberised one. This does increase the pressure on the ball stack to bring it closer to the force feed loader as some are prone to claim ;)

I wouldn't recommend that- they got rid of those hard ones because you can bust the paint with them. I wish that VL would put a spring of some sort in the propeller. Thjat plus a little more lag in the run of the motor would makle them real force feed. I could also do with a battery door redesign.

you mean shell re design as well right?
with my battery door it wasnt the door that broke, it was the 2 slidy bits on both sides of the shell that broke, and one teeny bit of plastic will costr you £5 each side:(

Didn't say it was perfect...just an idea that can have a benifit.
unless a major redsign takes place (Egg III) the current Egg will never be a force feeder whatever paddle/software is installed. Incidently it is americans who are doing the old paddle swap not english so you might be very surprised to how many people are doing this as you can't tell by watching someone play. The Halo has hard plastic guides and they don't smash paint all the time, if they were to change the the impellor disc to a soft rubberised material like the EggII paddles then the balls would bounce all over the place. All designs are a compromise.
