EGG II feedneck

Will cutting the feedneck result in chopping??

Ive got an EGG II with Z-board, and i'm getting this trouble once in a while.

i shoot an IR3 FLY btw

why not just not cut it down...then there is a bigger ball stack. the smaller the ball stack, the less balls are on top of each other to force them down. although IR3's have COPS...

too late for that, but does it really make the marker chop? i tried it with a REVVY xboard and it didnt chop as much coz of the COPS settings but i tend to outshoot it, which is annoying.

u think i can get new feednecks?

Maybe the problem of chopping paint lies within the marker itself, and not the hopper!!

well before i changed the egg into the Z-board and cut the feedneck, chops were non-existent

new feednecks are £1.47 per side. i have 5 whole feednecks

i cut my feedneck down so my eggy was like 5 mm above my cocking pin on my old impy. when the eye worked, it still ripped!

hmmmm... well my COPS settings are SENS 4 BAS 20 DWELL 15, so theres plenty of time for the paintballs to load.

Same as LJ here, my egg is cut down as low as it can go into one of the CP collars, and it worked flawlessly yesterday apart from when I loaded it with a broken ball!

like has been said, eggs dont need cutting down. as they arent force feed, its better for an egg to have more balls in the stack, halos are the opposite, the shorter the better. so maybe its worth getting a new neck
