Egg Hopper stop/start feeding

got a egg hopper which stops feeding randomly.... normally when someone's 5ft from me!!

took it off the marker and tried running paint through it .......

it feeds then stops half way through ???? press on /off switch then starts feeding again .... sometimes emptying the hopper other times stopping half way through???

It was brand new so should work perfect ....

anybody got any ideas (have tried new batteries)

Have you had a ball break in the feed neck as you may have dirty eyes or have you had it in bits and trapped a wire.That happend to me

How do you clean the eyes? After its taken apart..
And what with..

Once in bits i use bog paper and that seems to do the trick i take it to bits when ever theres a break in it but i havent done that for a long time as i now use a re-loader but you may get them clean by putting your finger with bog paper wrapped round it up the feed neck of a fluffy.Hope that helps Ghandi.
