Egg 2 Pre Y board Motor with Z board?

Peeps..getting clear Egg2 non Y board....also getting Z board to go in it.
SHEP has said that the pre Y board motor may not be as fast with the Z board, as a newer motor...are there any differences in the motors...can I get a new one from somewhere and how much?

good question, i'm in the same boat, so let hear some answers

Have checked my two, and ones a y-board, the others an original and the servo has the same part number on them, so I'm assuming there one and the same no matter which model of board

Motors

Thx for the info mine must just be a lazy motor as i said there may be a prob obviously there isn't sry for any confusion caused
will have to get a spare motor.

yer changed batteries first thing checked not to worry have fully working egg with z board & they rip!!!!
