Been up all night doing a management report
And just wondering what type of education have most paintballers had or aiming at
Its just ironic that most people think of paintballers as brainless thugs whilst most of the baller's i have met come across as the most intelligent people i have ever talked to or read
e.g. buddha3 and robbo, had to put robbo, he scares me:D
So did you go to uni, in which case, which one?

I am at a military academy (I don't want to hear it Rooster!! :p ). I am going for my bachelor's degree. I am in hte middle of finals right now. See my thread "My brain is oozing out of my head." I have 3 more years to go. Oh, and my degree is in English.

Thanks for the compliment Kris.
I guess that a good reason why a lot of ballers seem to be relatively smart is because paintball can be an expensive sport. In order to be able to fork out large amounts of cash, a person would have to have a semi decent job, which usually are not given to the slow witted peoples of this planet. Although I'd like to add that I've met people who had degrees that would make your had explode, and who are still some of the most ignorant people I ever seen. Goes to show that the ability to store information (like they make you do in most schools) does not automatically mean that you are smart. It's the ability to apply this information when needed that makes a smart man.
As for myself, I've studied business economics at the Amsterdam School of Business.

Well, although I'm just starting as a paintballer, I am going to Christ's College, Cambridge next year, to study natural Sciences.
Not meaning to boast, It is the top academic college in Cambridge.

I had problems with passing exams at school above a certain level so never went to Uni, but have since taken & passed 2 different internationally recognised Project Management qualifications.

You'll find a high proportion of people in the IT industry in the sport, I think it's something to do with letting off steam after a week of working in a high tech & brain intensive atmosphere usually having to be nice to users. The money in the industry helps!:D

Re education

Well I got off to a good start...10 o'levels A & B's but unfortunately at age 16 I met this bloke who i thought was great, left school to get married & then found out he was an utter bas^@)%!! So 2 kids, several murder attempts & 15 years later i found the balls to divorce him, moved away, took up p8ntball (lots of pent up aggression- ha ha!!) & haven't looked back since...guess you could say i got a degree at the University of Life!! (A 1st i think!). Thereafter took psychology (yes Robbo..you were right about Mrs Freud!!) and Human Biology at A level just for something to do. Got A's in both. Now happy & enjoying life....
