Eclipse E Blade2 autococker circuit board

Hi Guys, does anyone know if the circuit board from the earlier Eblade Eclipse autococker will fit and work with the Eblade2 marker. The lcd display has died on my present board and I have been offered a replacement earlier board.

An E1 board will fit perfectly into an E2 frame.

Would this be a straight swap then with no adjustments to be made to the board, does the earlier board have the lcd screen or would I be left with a hole in the back of the grip? Regards Steve

As my educated friend WihGlah rightly states, an E1 board will fit perfectly into an E2 frame,......... and the E1 board does indeed have an LCD screen.

Actually an E1 has an LED dispaly - it's somewhat less pretty, but just as servicable with most of the same settings.

As for adjustments - that would depend on what the previous owner had messed with.

Just a quick question though - does your E2 board still work with it's non-functioning screen? (If so - why not just leave it in?)

it will look slightly funny with the see through cover, rather than the red lcd cover as std on e1's, it will work fine tho, i've had a few come to me with e2 grip and e1 board. if you ask in classifieds for an e2 board some one might have a spare (or 3!)

Thanks for all the great advice guys, yes the board still works, but with the dead display it does make things a little harder to play with.

I do have an advert in the wanted section of the forum for a replacement board, but if any of you guys know anyone who might have a spare or three and might not have seen my advert then please let them know.
