Not everyone. I would say most people are attracted to its accuracy and if there is a mod that allows you to have that same accuracy but with high ROF, they are damn well gonna get it cos they can then piss on angels and other "superior" markers.

yeah but who says autocockers arent already superior markers? in my opinion, all high end markers are at the same level no matter what you do to them.

why would you need an eblade to get a high rof? there are several other triggers/frames you can install.. powerlyte makes one, extreme rage makes some, i can't remember the others..

Royston, Herts.
Autocockers are the only guns I have ever owned, I shoot cockers because they are accurate, light, well balanced, Aesthetically pleasing and Reliable.
IMHO the EBlade basically makes this excellent marker even better by giving it a higher ROF and making sure it wont chop, and TBH if your playing tourney ball you need that higher ROF to keep up with the Angels, Imps and Timmy`s etc. :D

Well I wouldn't say that, there is still the Race frame. But before we get into an arguement about which is better I would say they are both as good as each other. People just have their own personal preferences as to which one they like better.

I think it's less down to preferance and more to do with the fact that a Race is £400 + £90 if you want an eye, then there's support to consider, we all know planet and they are easily reachable.

Plus of couse the EBlade looks the mutts.:D

Actually, for the full-blown Race* (not even the equivalent-to-an-eBlade 9V one) it's £311 + £60 (although I'm sure I heard that the price of the eye kit has dropped, they just haven't updated their webshop yet).

So £370 ish is a fair way off £490 ;)

*That's full blown as in comes with datacable, charger, rechargable battery (good for many 10's of 1,000's of shots) all the gubbins you need.

Race has the best support/customer service I've ever been on the receiving end of, yes, planet are good, but Race are better

I'll give you that for the 5-way mount, they did do that nicely (if the shroud will still fit), but again, personal preference comes into play here, and for the actual grip-frame, I prefer one which I can actually get my fingers around, ;)

And as Little Jon says, you can get Jam bolts now in the UK (see Spaklie for more details) so you dont need the eye (unless you're into some hardcore maxing out of the RoF, and want to use a delrin bolt, to save 10ms off the total cycling time)
