howdy y`all i just fitted an eblade to me cocker, i read the eclipse instructions, and foolishly adjusted the trigger which i thought was cool, coz the gun rips big time, however at last practice there was mention that my gun is bouncing like a "Bast%^d" i sat down and tried to figure this out, how do i tell if it is bouncing ? i tried holding the trigger very gently and sure enough it actuates the mechanism, but when i thought of this it dunt matter how close i get the trigger, coz if you pull it so it is in line with the light gates it will actuate the mechanism anyway, therefore it is possible to bounce it regardless, that is if bouncing is what i think it is ! can anyone enlighten me, my gun is currently set up (eye off, fact setting PRF)

cheers for ya help folks

Bounce means that your trigger is set with such a short and light activation that the trigger can reactivate itself without being pulled (for example, by the recoil of the marker, or the vibration from the sear-tripper, etc.). If you can hold your trigger in a certain spot, and it keeps firing, without you releasing and then re-pulling the trigger, you're bouncing.

hmmm i see

hmm i see, but if that be the case, even with a long trigger pull surely you could pull the trigger to the point where it is anout to break the light gate, and simply holding it there would have the same results ? i set the trigger pull back last night, and i can make it do as you said ?

any advice good DR ?

There is a setting on the ebalde advanced setup that allows you to deal with unwanted bounce....

Open the grips and press the red button with the gun switched on (degassed and hopperless!), cycle through the setup menu to FILT--> TPUL increasing TPUL will decrease trigger bounce!
FILT--> TREL increasing TREL will decrease trigger bounce!

dunno if you have the eblade manual but it's all in there! ;)

Also, giving the trigger abit of play infront of and behind the firing point helps reduce bounce....

Hope this helps ya!

ALWAYS test for bounce with air and a full hopper as this weight will affect how bouncy the gat is.

Check that your cocking preassure isnt higher than it needs to be as this also can produce bounce...if its too low it wont cock, if its too high it will blow the solenoid, but if its a bit too low, it will affect high ROF's (ie: It will slow the gat down)

Try and give a little over travel 1-2mm or so.

TPUL can be adjusted up to about 008 without a problem TREL just raise it till it stops bouncing.

Apparetly the Samurai triggers help reduce bounce as they are lighter, so have less ability to keep moving.

Actually thats a good point on the air and hopper skeet, i think i must have lapsed into my "Must-make-gun-safe-before-fiddling" mode :p

I tend to always remind people to turn off, degass, unplug, remove, de-activate, disarm, make safe they're stuff before doing anything to em...safeties sake, but this IS one job that needs a live gun to sort out!
