Ebay help!

Ok I know its not paintball related or the weekend but im looking for some advice, I won a phone off ebay last tuesday ( not tuesday just gone) and it was paid by direct debit, Guy had positive feedback so trusted him without paypal.

Money cleared on saturday and he emailed me saturday night saying he will get it in the post monday. Ok, nothing comes through the door tuesday so I emailed him just to check he got it in the post. I email him again and he said he forgot sorry sorry blabla he will send it hundred percent wed. Ok, email wed night just to check, nothing through today and no email back as of yet. I have emailed him again asking if he has posted it so waiting again.

If anyone could help me if I dont get this item, where I should go to try and get money bak etc, Ebay? Bank? And is there a good way to approach it, thanks.

Ebay recommend that you wait 10 full days before you consider doing anything

Dont worry your not alone tho, i get pretty edgy after 3 days with nothing arriving

if that was me on ebay i would have just given you the money back nothing worse than someone who keeps mailing about have you posted it

he will send it when he does most people on there take up to a week to get things posted and post all of the items they sell in one go or wait for other auctions to end so they dont waste time running around if like me he runs 10-20 auctions at the same time it can become a pain just for the odd item especialy if he works

also ebay states a resonable amount of time is allowed from the end of sale to posting think they count anything up to 2 weeks(so 10 working days ) if you read all the help folders

if on the other hand he is a conman and you paid using paypal you can start a dispute

agree with above, give it two weeks and then maybe launch a dispute.
ebay have got lots of information on what to do in any event so just read up and be patient dude, don't leave a neg feedback until you've exhausted all avenues though.

most ebayers are regular joes like me and you, gettin to a post office can be difficult, thats why you should ask for a courier, then it is like 1 phone call and the package is on its way

You should have paid buy paypal - ebay then have full access to all the transaction history

Cheers for the help, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow so Im going to write to ebay and see what happens, heard nothing from him for a week or any information if it has been sent or not.

No it was a orange spv m1000, same phone as the o2 xda pda phone. I have all the sat nav gear for it also won off ebay sitting at home and now no phone with it. He is from near cardiff.
