Ebay ...... and markers

Just logged into Ebay.co.uk and made sure that paintball markers are ok to be sold online on ebay.
i have heard stories whereby a seller puts an auction on a 'Pot of Paint' and in this auction the winner recieves a FREE gift which is a paintball marker (stated in its title). In the sale the seller states that the winning bidder will get this FREE gift as a "well done" for being the highest bidder, also the state that the marker is NOT part of the auction as markers are not allowed to be sold on ebay due to the catogory they fit into (Guns & Firearms / Weapons).
so my question is... how is it that people are not kicked off of Ebay due to this and also if this is the case why is this ion being sold?

Any markers for sale on Ebay UK will be pulled as soon as they are found.

That marker is on Ebay USA which is cool with marker sales

That marker is being sold from The USA mate. Its coming up with options from foreign ebay. But as for the Illegal selling ive seen people advertise cups and attach black market football match tickets and so on. I think it is because it is a free gift.

I dont understand why anyone would buy a marker from ebay anyway.

Just as cheap here, and much easyer in my opinon.

ebay are pretty good at removing anything that isnt allowed.

I've seen some slip through E-bay cant track everything on there, unless it gets reported by an E-bay member...

Ive sold Guns on Ebay quite recently with no problems

eBay do basic searches for banned items unless to put in the title "BUY MY PAINTBALL GUN" 9/10 it passes.

Avoid words like Gun or paintball marker & put photos on a link to photobucket as opposed to using ebays photo hosting system and you should be fine

Guns generally go for much more on eBay than on here as does most equipment

i have sold a lot of markers through fleebay BUT not as a item for sale ..the normal way is to sell a item then footnote it as have a few items/markers for sale please email ect....does work sometimes and most people are uk based.

as a footnote i have also bought a lot of markers from canada and america on ebay ( mainly cockers ) so provided you use common sense its very easy to buy and sell markers
