Guys & Gals,

I've got an E2 on my Dye Cocker but it seems to be extremely slow! Training mode is obviously fine, but when set on Classic & firing paint it's only just managing a bps rate of around 9!

I've cleaned the eye & checked the settings to make sure it is reading properly. No problems there. I've tried several different brands of paint too.

Any ideas?

Really? Could be that simple? I'll give it a go!

Does it speed up with eyes off (and eye off bps set higher than 9) ???
Nope. In fact, I probably should've mentioned this earlier but it's slower with the eye on which made me think it was an eye problem.

The 1st thing you should check is that your E2 is set to factory fast and turn the eye on and try that. As Skeetmaster said the setup of the gat would help i.e. what ram , lpr and so on, so that people can help you.

Thats why I asked !! Sounds indeed like an eye / eye setting problem, but you said it's 'detecting' ok. If thats true (detecting ok) then it can only be either the settings (somehow max 9 bps) so try reseting to default, or a feed problem. (but that should be apparent if its chopping with eyes off ??)

What you using to feed it ?

I've got a Z boarded Egg on it. I'm pretty certain it's not a feed issue. I tried it on semi (dryfiring) and that does seem to be a lot quicker. I'll try putting some paint through it this weekend & get back to you with results!

Cheers for all your help/suggestions.

hi there, i might be totally off the mark with this one, but if you try dry firing an eblade with eye on (and no paint) it will cycle as slow as anything, this is cos the gun is looking for paint which isnt there.

hope this helps, i might have interpreted the question wrong.

Erm......yeah, it's not quite that slow!!! :D

When dry-firing I have the eye turned off for obvious reasons. I'm going to try it over the weekend with paint so I can test the eye again.
