right, i've just recently bought a Max-Flo adjustable LPR, and ive noticed that when my tank pressure gets to about 300 psi, the cocking 'noid starts leaking. why is this? have i blown the 'noid or is it due to lack of pressure coming from the LPR?

Also, if i was the take the cocking 'noid apart, what signs of a blown 'noid do I look for?

Thanks, Chris

it is definately from the noid, when i plug up the bottom of the solenoid with the palm of my hand the leak subsides, and there is no leak from what i can tell with a full tank

I'm Having a similar problem with my cocker, though that is the front qev. Each time i gas it up, the front qev leaks until the first shot. But after that it's fine. This probably shouldn't be happening though it doesn't seem to effect performance.

That usually happens mate...always remeber to pull your cocking rod back as well, before you gas teh gun up.

Seejay...remember that working pressure is around 325 psi...so at 300...dont expect teh gun to work...if it isnt leaking when you have a full tank, down to maybe 800 psi...then its fine.

Skeet - Yeah, my reg is sweetspotted and it's at about 300psi, couldn't tell you know cos i took the guage off as it was starting to get in my way, thus getting on my t*ts, but it read around 300psi before i took it off, and i haven't made any reg adjustments since.

Beanbag - I have the same thing happen with my front QEV, but it just means you have to pull the trigger as you turn the gas on.
