E-vent lens problem

Ok so I was playing the other week and got very hot and sweaty and noticed that my lenses had got a weird peeling effect on them. I washed them and the water made a layer peel off both the inside and out side. It was definitely the water that made them peel. They now fog up very quickly. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I still trust them or replace? BTW it was the clear lens...
They're white E-vents.

nah it wasn't like a film that should be peeled off, it wasn't like one on phones and cameras

if you didn't take the protective film off when you got them. that is what has just come off. it is just like the ones on phones.

what did you wash them with? are they single lenses or thermal?

There is an anti fog coating on the inside of the E-vents lenses, which is like a very thin film stuck on but through time and repeated washing this will eventually wear off.

Your lense is most likely structurally sound but for all the price of a replacement, buy a new one.

Big issue on the clear single lense, easier to just bin it and get a thermal lense instead!
