Was thinking that, but planet don't seem to have it rated on there website. so with my train of thought there may be a difference.

Obviously not

the etek doesn't have qev's, it has banjo fittings. I have had the pleasure of building these at planet with Robert Pozderka and there is no difference, if there is it is VERY minor. the qev's really dont make much difference unless you are shooting stupid amounts of paint at stupid speeds. the normal player even on ramp modes will hardly notice any difference. that is what i have been told by the people who know about these markers.
hope this helps mate and the etek is a fantastic marker, you cant go wrong

i looked on pbnation, and one of the planet techs got 1450 shots per 68/4500 fill. I just got my Etek i havent had a chance to use it in a game, only shot it out in my back garden and i was very impressed with it, very accurate.

The last time i paid any attention to it I got about I got about 1300 ish (7 160's and a halo) out of my 06. Trying to persuade a team mate to get one and seems that they are about the same just thought i would ask with it having a different air chamber and opperating pressure etc. Gathered that the Exhaust valves would only hamper the maximum cycle per second but with the 15 cap it doesn't seem to make much difference then?

Back to trying to convince him its a good move.

tbh i got my new etek and i used to shoot an 06 ego before i shot the shocker. the etek felt more robust and well built than the 06, ill get to shoot it properly tommorow but im confident that it will perform as well if not better than the 06 ego.
