Good question as iv just bought a response trigger for my a5. Haven't fitted it yet as my trigger frame dosent have the recess for the cylinder?? Got an idea most people will say e trigger. But be good to hear from both sides, Rather than just watching biased you tube videos.

Hi was just wondering which way you went in the end e-grip or response trigger? I just got back from north vrs south " what mega weekend " and felt a bit out gunned with my single shot A5 So I'm looking to upgrade but would like to hear from anyone who has used either trigger !

I have used the response trigger on an A5 and once it is set up right you can get the trigger to bounce against your finger and it is almost as good as an electonic set up. Plus side, no batteries or delicate electronics to worry about getting wet, negative side, the marker uses slightly more gas and the small seal between the removable handle part and the marker body can get damaged if you are not careful.

Personal choice, response trigger evert time on this marker.

I have had both on an A-5 that I primarily used for big games so I could take advantage of the flatline barrel (most conflicts in big games can be from a distance) Both have withstood torrential rain, hard abuse, and prolonged play so the issue with "fine electronics or dead batteries" is null.

It comes down to cost. Both spray enough paint for what your looking for. I preferred the e-grip but cost wasn't an issue at the time. Really can't go wrong with either.
