Considering getting my evo-x on an electric frame.
however, on my evo, i have one of the old style wire detents. Is it still possible to add the eyes without it causing problems with the detent?
Also, if i send my cocker up to planet to have it installed, do they charge extra, as i would need holes drilling for the eyes.

finally, might as well ask here, as its same topic.
when ive used an eblade, ive found the trigger feel too 'clicky' like a mouse button.
i like the trigger on my viking as it is very loose (no spring), is it easy to set the e-blade like this?

there ya go skeet. better give you your daily dose of questions to ask :D

look forward to your answers.

planet are working on this, although i dont believe it is out yet, was gonna buy a cheap cocker off ebay, but they dont do it yet:(

so to stop it being clicky, you can either reverse the magnet which would make it the equivalent to having a strong return spring, or just lower it, personally i like the ones with no magnet at all. do you guys read manuals??:D

get ya own thread ;)
you can fit it to a right hand feed cocker, but not the eyes. planet were supposed to be coming out with an eye for r/h feed. but that was many months ago, so obviously plans have stopped/been set back.

cheers LJ, and im sure you're on about loose clothes eh ;):D

i was just wondering if the eye would restrict the movement of the detent. I'm not complaining about the wire detent, it has served me very well on my 2 cockers.

so anyone know about getting the eye holes drilled and installation? do they charge extra for these?

Drilling the hole is easy, if you have access to proper tools. The best is to have a drill press, though I did a couple with a hand drill equiped with a drill guide. Also, you need a tap and a de-burring tool. I recommend a center punch for marking the aluminum, but I am like that.

The eye sits in a recessed hole (that you can make yourself, or have Planet do). The detent will not be affected, though I would take it off for the drilling to avoid having metal fragments fall into the workings.
