I don't post on this site very often but indeed do sit back and spend my time reading.

A recent thread caught my eye but not due to the reasons that most people took an interest/ added their bit.

I'm a medical student and dyslexia is a medical condition. It is not something to be mocked or made fun of, moreover it bares no relevance to an individuals ability to possess intelligence or partake in intelligent discussions.

Just as the rules of this forum encourage us not to abuse people I would be grateful if some of the individuals spent a bit of time reading some basic literature before they make inappropriate statements that are, in truth, offensive to approximately 20% of the UK population:

As someone who was genuinely diagnosed with dyslexia I am more than happy with the level of mocking that occurs on here.

...why!?

Because basically all who cite dyslexia as an excuse for poor posts on the internet are chatting ****, those of us who do suffer from dyslexia tend to put in the effort when writing replies and make us of handy firefox add ons :)
