Yes, I've done my EVO II a yellow tinted colour - I like it!

Get a bucket of boiling water, tip your dye in (I used Dylon), obviously more dye and more heat/time in pocket means darker shade. Stick your parts in the bucket and stir them round for about 10 minutes. Don't let them rest in the bucket or they go blotchy.

Take them out, rinse them, dry and put back together - new coloured hopper.

I'd post a pic but my brother has the digicam and the only camera I have is one on my phone!

BTW - Don't do the dye process indoors or you'll get funny coloured walls and ceilings

i emailed dylon a while ago about this and they said something along the lines of yes it will dye plastic but you will need to heat the plastic to open the pores to let the dye in......i got a couple of packs of dye to try it and blagged a spare revvi half off ledz but i still havnt had chance to try it......have seen loads on the net tho that have been done with rit dye (same sort of stuff) and look damn fine.....can even do fades.

apparently you have to keep halos in near boiling water for a while to get the dye to take tho.
revies are apparently easy to do.....dunno about evos
warp feeds can be done too

Well if anyone cares, I bought some Dylon black dye today - and boiled some water, poored it in a bucket - soaked my Halo shells (been in for probabbly a good 3 hours now)

No difference!

Perhaps for halo shells you need to continually boil the water?

Hmmmmmm.

£3.94 down the drain :p
