Think he means grips, not gripframe. He's got clear grips, he wants to dye them. Am I correct? If so, you could try the old fashioned platic-dying method of dunking them in boiling water with dye added. Don't know how effective it would be, if it would rub off on your hands, or if they'd even survive the dying process.

i just wanted to see if anyone else had done this before and if it worked ok or not....i have some clear dye 3 grips if anyone would like to trade them for black?

basically there are 2 type of plastic

thermosetting and thermomolding....one sets when its heated, the other melts.

if you have kind of plastic that sets then its fairly easy to die it...simply boil it up in some die, this is how hopper shells are done.

if its the other type of plastic it will turn to junk in hot die.

without knowing what sort of compound the grips are made from i wouldnt know if you can die them or not......personally i wouldnt risk it, ive had softer plastic/rubber parts mess up in the past (tried to die some lok soks and didnt realise what they were made of, knackered in 2 seconds!)
