Dye u/l fronts, diff thread?

just done a swap for different lenght u/l front and it looks like the new front won't fit my u/l
Am I being stupid? have i got a dodgy u/l back??
any help would be appriciated

Man.. and here I thought for the last few months that I was the only person with this problem

I have the same thing... a brand new U/L tip... which does not fit my U/L back!

don't want to force it. is this a known problem? are we just "special"?

could be thicker anno trying to compair different ones at mo.
this is a new tip as well i think.

Ive really forced mine and it still wont take... in fact almost the entire team has had a go trying to get this tip onto the back.

mmm i just got one too. god dam it. i have a 14" inch front and a 16" front ...

16" inch is perfect but the 14" wont fit my other back!!!!

yet the 16" will its fits into all my backs

There might be a different thread on the old and new backs. The old backs just said Dye on them and didn't have the logo or grove milling just above the threads (where you screw it into your marker). You can see the new style back in the pic below.

happed me me once.

my friend had a green UL

I had a black UL

he wanted a black front and his green front would screw on really loose and often shake or just fall off.

My front fitted onto his UL front.

and vice versa.

hence why i have a turtle green UL front..if u ever see it.
