Dye Throttle

Hey Guys, in the need of a new bottle. Im looking at the dye throttle and have been reading some reviews. Have read that it is alot heavier than other fibre wraped bottles?!? Also I would like to know the dimensions of it as i am used to a guerilla 68/45 with a small myth reg and see that there is a significant size difference in the reg size on the throttle (ie its bigger) I would like to know how it sits and feel?!?

Any help would be appreciated

the throttle is much of a muchness weight wise to many of the other fibrewraps at 1.1l.

it is longer (and thinner) than the GA with mythG2 - both because the bottle itself is longer and the throttle reg is longer then the myth.

personally i have used both a GA and a throttle and switched between them between games and there isn't that much of a change in feel for me. but that's how it feels for me. it's all a question of personal ergonomics though. if your arms are long enough you will be fine. you can also slide your ASA forward to counter the little extra length.

I think he was saying its no heavier that any other fibre wrapped bottle out their of similar size

I could be wrong but I think the later Dye throttles are made by Inocom, they also make DXS and Smartpart bottles.
These were shorter then the standard bottles eg Luxfor and Carlton.

The Dye reg is fairly long, here's pic to compare, L-R
PE 45/45 with standard reg, PE 68/45 with Myth 2 reg, DXS 68/45 with Ninja UL reg, PE 68/45 with standard reg.

Just noticed the PE on the right wasn't lined up properly so doesn't really show how much longer it is to the rest

So does that mean that the dye tanks are the same size as the dxs apart from reg size?!?

I also have a Smartparts bottle and its the same as the DXS bottle, also the later DXS bottles have a shorter reg on them which is actually a rebrand Ninja reg so win all round.

I took the Myth off the DXS and replaced it with a Ninja, I find these regs much better and don't suffer 'ping.'
Also the Myth being so short it fouled the back of some markers and could not be used on the gun!

Haha cheers, yeh the reason im wanting a new tank is because my nt HATES the myth reg on my guerilla and also my bottle is ojut of date haha, think ill get the throttle and put a ninja reg on it Thanks for your help Rich

Get a guerrilla tank as they are the lightest but just swap the reg to a Ninja as they are way more reliable.
