dye rotor issue..

Just took a dye rotor out the box - put some fresh battery's in to test it, turned it on (empty) the led lit up, but the drive didn't start spinning - so I tried 2 more sets of fresh battery's and still no joy. I also tried taking it apart to check all the visible connections and still no luck.


any ideas?

Tried turning on the gearbox out of the hopper itself? They often don't click into the right place.

I did try, but there was still no response.

mine did this and i rang up dye and they told me to yank the unjam fin on the bottom a few times quite hard as sometimes dirt or sand can get into the micro switch

Yeah, I will be doing so - was just wondering if I could tap into the resource that is baller.

Mine did the same, i had to get it replaced as nothing seemed to make it work.

Check the microseitch inside the motor box. Sometimes the switch can bend and hold the switch permenantly on
