are dye/proto elbow and knee pads worth the money? are they useful, would they be worth getting?

theres probably some difference but its most likely not worth the extra cash. nobody sees them, and they all do the same job so who cares what year they are- unless your cool and where them on top of your trousers  :p

are there any size guides for proto elbow pads? my arm is about 10" at the top, and 6.5" at the wrist, would small be the best size?

I ahve the 07 proto pads there nice and are very comfy and dont restrcit movement. I dont really think that the proto pads come in a small size(they obviously do its just ive never seen them on any sites) instaed they seam to come in two sizes of medium medium small and medium large, I ordered medium small, ther are about 13 inches long and are designed to come past the elbow a fair bit and around they are 7 inches at the bottom and 14 inches at the top however when i say top this is round about where the big muscle starts (dunno what that muscle is called the one at the top of your arm that people always tense to see how strong they are).
