Dye matrix 2005 ASA

The ASA on the dye (or is it proto? - I forget) matrix 2005 appears to have the gas line coming out of the front rather than the side like on most.

Firstly, am i seeing correctly in the picture - does someone have one and can comfirm this.

Secondly, where can i get my hands on one? Do dye ship to the uk? Or does anyone over here have them?

Alternatively, does father christmas stock them?

I have a DM5 at home but i really can't remember.

But I know Hybrid and System X both do ASA's with the hose outlet at the front

Yeah the gass port comes out of the front on the Dye, or either side(blanking plugs are supplied).

Has to be the nicest looking asa available, especially if you have a dovetailed gripframe.

There is no on-off but it degasses quite early so you dont have to screw more than 1/4 turn with air pressure in it!

Works wonderfully with one of Tom Allens straight fittings!!!

How do these things attach to a dovetail gripframe, anyway? What's holding it on?
