hi, i currently own a pair of jt flex 7s, im thinking about getting some dye invision, just woundering what you guys make of them. i only really play rec ball so the flappy bit at the bottom of the jts dont really offer any advantages of bounce etc as head shot dont usually count where i play.

cheers!

ps any other recommendation welcome:)

Ok, so that is how i think it is:
I had them both, and i like more the flex - for me as a middle it's much easier to shout with it. Also the folding part - makes it much easier to shout. On the other hand, because the flex got the folding part, when you get hit in the grill, the place where you got hit burns [ after all the paint comes at you at 200 miles per hour ]. I personally offer you to take a DYE Invision, wear it one game, and decide, that's the best way :) Take whatever fits you better :)

Well, also some people claim that the invision sits better on your face, though there is no much difference in the viewable area in both of them. Oh, there is a special timer for the invision that fits right on the ear-piece, and talks to you - it tells you how much time passed/left each minute, tells you 30 secs left and counts the last 10 seconds. all of it in human voice and as far as i know it can vibrate. The JT timer just vibrates and beeps and sits on the back of your head.

For the ultimate in vision perepheals! use the Vforce Profiler, the only reason I don't still own a pair is because I love the invisions, don't know why! lol, but the profiler allows you to see the whole field! and the lense changing is a lot easier than all the other large manufactured brand goggles :)

I have invisions and don't really like them apart from the looks. The lenses are a b**ch to take out to clean, and I had to cut out some of the foam in the nose section to make it comfortable to wear. If you can afford them go for profilers... use them when marshalling - they bounce, MASSIVE field of vision, so comfortable you can almost forget they're on, and lense removal takes about 5 seconds.

Check the classifieds, someone (I think it was something dave maybe?) was selling profilers for £30 - £35.

They really beat invisions hands down.

flex 7's

i had some invisions and i traded them for flex 7's.never looked back since, they are lighter and FAR more comfortable.............the lenses are double layered and thermal and so never fog.......which is awesum.

then agen i do have a small hed..........and i think that may be why i didnt like the invisions, as they have a wider profile.

also changing the lense on invisions is the HARDEST thing ever..........in the end i had 2 lube the fittings 2 get them in.

+ jt's look better ;)

ive owned both - go for profilers - dye invisions are (as stated) a real pain in the arse to clean - especially for rec ball where you may take 4-5 hits to the face and still not be out - you will have to fight with the invisions to get them clean enough for your next game - i sold my invisions to buy more profilers :)
