just use some good old clean water...

also, you might want to invest in a microfibre cloth for smeer free goodness..

you wont want to get removing the lense and putting it back in, after the first time you'll understand what i mean.

to clean them, just make sure you get all the paint off them and use a good micro fibre cloth to clean the lense (btw asda do microfibre cloths for like 99p, and they work really well, and there pretty big)

Lens is a bitch

First time I removed my lens I snapped a tag off.... I think it was James here who helped me out with some spare lens...

Inevitably you will need to take the lens out to clean it as paint and paint shell does get lodged in the goggle frame and this is the only way to get it out. Tip I been given is to put the smallest amount of fairy liquid on the tabs before you put it back in. This aids re-assembly and any later removal. Also, the hardest part I found of lens removal and re-fitting was the two nose tabs... if you can avoid taking them out when removing all the bits of paint etc.... then this will save a lot of cursing and thumbache.

As James said just use water and a microfibre cloth, and don't immerse the lens or goggle frames in water. I think it says that in the book. Invest in one of those water spray things (99p from Ikea) for game days.

not sure if all the mask manufacturers just say that to cover there arses, as we dump all our thermal lens masks in water after a days play to clean them, and never had any problems (but thats not to say we not gona have any problems in the future)

personally i leave the lens in , spray with good amount of water, wipe clean :)
if u dont spray it with water your more likely to scratch the lens.

alternatively dont get shot in the face :)

Well yeah the best option is not to get shot in the face lol but there chance of that happening with some of my m8's lol
