Awesome kit, couldn't go far wrong with those. Good padding, ventilation etc.

the 06 pants are nice but can be a little hot in the summer
prefer the lighter proto ones

My honest opinion of the C6 gear is its the best available on the market today mate...
Absolutely fantastic quality, resilience, ventilation, padding and comfort!
A close second would have to be Proto gear, and is very similar to DYE.

Until recently, I'd agree with Magic, Dye kit is generally the best in the market....,
Having bought a pair of Planet's Destructor pants, my opinion has changed, for the following reasons:
1. they have superior padding (except for groin area, so wear Dye Slide Shorts)
2. are well made
3. have buckles instead of velcro on the waist
4. they look better!

If you like the 06 gear, hang fire and wait for the 07 gear to come out in November. The price of the 06 kit should drop in price or you might prefer the 07 stuff. This time of the year is always a bit hit and miss to buy new equipment with World/Commanders Cup on the horizon.
