I recently got a maker that had a dye boomstick, the glue between the two barrel parts has come away. Is there any way of ensuring that when the two parts are glued again the barrel will be true. There is a little bit of play, when they are fitted in place and it will be hard to get the two bits straight. I am in the UK , is there somewhere that can repair them locally.

Thanks in advance

To repair it yourself I would guess a bit of green loctite would do the trick. If your not happy about doing this, ask someone like Planet if they can have a look at it for you.

Good Luck ;)

I would say the best thing to do is to ask a shop that specializes in anodizing barrels like P&P, Planet, Warped (of which there are many stores so one should be somewhere near you if you're in the US), PK, or any store that is known to anodize guns and have match ano'd barrels with their guns, because they disassemble and reassemble Boomsticks all the time and surely they if anyone can get it right. Personally that's one reason why I have owned very few 2 piece barrels in my paintballing years, and heck, the only one other than my SSR, a 14" AA for my Shocker, I traded away so cheaply I practically threw it away.
