has anyone used a dye assault pack? if so, are they any good? are the short straps a problem, or are they easy to use? and do they hold proto pods?
thanks.

well they are fine for my frame, i guess i must be a 'lil smaller than lump (around the waist at least :p) because i am 6' and it fits me awesome.

the pods come out real easy, one of the guys complained about less of the pods sticking out made it harder to grab, cant say i've noticed that tho.

i really like mine, used to use an nxe and i cant say i've really noticed a nmajor difference between the two, the dye one imo looks cooler tho (and thats what really counts) :D

do the pod sleeves lie flat when there isn't a pod in them, or do they stay in the same size.shape as when there is a pod in them? do you have the 3+4 or the 4+5? i normally carry 2 pods, which size do you think would be better?

The pod sleeves have a stiff plastic insert in them to hold the mouth of the sleeves open (allows you to re-fill your own pack - great for hectic x-ball pits!) This means that the sleeves don't lie completely flat when empty. The packs are also a little stiff when they are new but do become more flexible after a bit of use. They are also quite bouncy... :)
