Dye 08 Weekender ? Any good ?

After a proper gear bag, as im sick of carrying bits and bobs, was looking at eclipse ones initially but came across these.

Anybody have any views on them ? worth the price ? large enough ?

The weekender is a good bag but the pics on the fat bobs site are of two different bags.

The weekender is not the bag shown with the gun sleeves etc (the open bag bottom right).

That is the explorer bag and is a true kit bag.
The weekender is a smaller bag that is hand luggage size.

If you are after a kit bag that isnt massive but has room for everything then go for the Explorer.

get a navigator, they are amazing, fits all the gear you usually need in half of it (there is a large detachable section)
that way for regular tourneys and training you take just the top half, but for mills events or similiar (any time you need to stay over for a few days) you attach the large bottom section for all your casuals and shizzle

Explorer is your best bet in my opinion - I've got my playing kit, team spares kit, 6 DMs, 5 Air Systems (one is a 1.5ltr) and 3 loaders packed into mine right now... plus barrels, fluffies, wet wipes etc.

Plus it weighs less than the navigator so if you are taking a cheap flight anywhere you can use more of your baggage allowance on kit and not the bag you are taking.

edit - and the gun sleeves are really handy too

Exactly what Spangley said.

I have the new 08 navigator and it is superb, I use top section for traning and local tourneys and for travel I attach the bottom half.

The top half is perfectly sectione so you can keep apart your dirty stuff from clean and there is even Gun Repair section with magnetic strip for all smal items not to fall on the floor.

The weekender is also good but I vote for navigator
