K, have been strongly recommended by a number of players (all far more experienced & better than me!!:D ) that I shouldn't use a drop forward - this was also recommended on dynasty dysected!

So, in keeping with good advice - I've dropped my drop forward...

...however, I was thinking (dangerous - I know) that without a drop forward your set up is longer, and therefore pushes you further back from behind your bunker - which would surely increase the angles you are visible from?

Although I know a drop makes you stick your elbow out - i take it this is a case of the lesser of two evils???

opinions on a postcard...?

but its looks a lot cooler without one and it keeps you gun lower down and therefore exposing less of you. At least thats what i've been told anyway.

The couple of extra inches in length are far more than outweighed by a comfortable and stable shooting position. Two inches back from your bunker exposes a lot less than an elbow stuck two inches out sideways.

But you don't stand any further back, you can still nestle up into your bunker, but the tip of your barrel is two inches futher forward. And now you can actually snapshoot without looking like you just won bronze in the Special Olympics.

bit off topic but an offender even worse than drop forwards are the stock ion duckbills. They manage to completely stop you being able to tuc into your shoulder. Im going to start an anti-stock ion duckbill club.

sean you are the main reason behind it. If anyone here has seen sean play youd see how the duckbill makes you hold your gun. With the air over your shoulder.

I have the answer to all you guys who find the preset pushes the marker to far forward.
I am currently developing an adaptor to return the bottle closer to the gun without dropping the system at all.

Check out Spitfire Paintball for further developments.

Or give me a shout.
