just bought a Custom Products Micro Drop Forward (Black) for my A4 and Maxflow. ive only had about 2 seconds to look at it as it arrived this morning, but cant help notice that the screws on the front dont look big enough for a maxflow connection.
the screws require an allen-key to turn...have i missed something???

i was recommended the micro drop by fellow ballers, but isnt the flame drop a better choice???
will the micro actually fit or not???

thx for any help guys :D

regards
Matt

Drop Forwards are the highest form of ghey. Lose it, just get a rail from SP. These can be had for about 10-15 quid. Or ask in classifieds.

You can't possibly play tight with a drop forward, especially a "Flame".

Also consider another air-systen. Save up your pennies and get one that isn't as high as the Empire State building (esepcially with a "Flame" adding height), and puts your marker in orbit.

Assuming that you wanna keep the drop, in spite of Mark and Stongle's posts (and I agree with them, drop forwards will make planes crash into your hopper), I have a question.

Do you have the slide rail that comes with the 'Flo? If so, you will have to attach the rail to the drop, which in turn will attach to your gun. This will drop your tank down a loooooooong way, but it will increase stability, as your tank will always be on the ground, even when you stand up ;)
Seriously, if you don't have the MaxFlo specific rail, you can't attach it to your gun. Just make sure you have one of those, and stick it straight on your gun. Drops are useless as is, and particularly on the spaceframe of an Angel, as your tank will be very much forward anyway. You don't want your HPA regulator sticking out past the inline reg, do ya?

That said, despite their gargantuan size, 'Flos are damn good systems...

That should be Stongle and Mark's. Can't help it if I have an echo. Anyway, who is this Mark Toye of Nexus? Is he a slayer of dragons? Legend indicates he could be old enough ;)

i dont actually have the slide rail for the flo. ive been told i need a rail to attatch to the drop (by the way its only raising the gun by about 1/2 inch or so at the moment without the rail).

looked on the smart parts site and cant see any rails.

can anyone give me a link per chance? ill probably just send the drop back as you guys are hinting that a rail is best :D

also my flo looks nothing like the ones on smart parts. instead of being higher, the part where the drop connects to the flo has no slide on ability what-so-ever. it literally sticks out with 2 big screw holes.

i literally need a connection of some type that doesnt need to be slid on, but literally has two big screw holes for the bottom of the speed grip, and two big holes at the other end of it to be screwed down onto my weird looking maxflow connection part lol

im guessing its an OLD Max-Flow 4500, atleast thats what is printed on it lol
