Tell me fellow players/marshalls/fans. What would make the ultimate paintball site???

Please be realistic about this i.e 10 square miles is rather large.

But more like in terms of buildings, objectives, games, obstacles, woods or open field or both combined??

Its your field but be realistic.

This should be fun to read :p

Woodland all the way. I am used to it. It would have to be open as well and maybe a few buildings so the field would have to be large, say, half a mile square.

Another would be like an industrial site with large buildings and overhead-walkways, towers and the occasional vehicle.

I agree with rockon_1 speed ball or sup air fields. I think the woodland field continues to shine the Commando light on our sport. If you make a site that brings the tournament edge out in the light more and more people would start seeing that aspect vs the commando/warrior in the woods aspect!

Besides that Speed Ball and SupAir is fast and exciting!:D

I think variety is the key to a good field. I would like to see one sup air ball, one woodland, one urban and a speedball / concept field. That way, players that play regularly at the site will not get too bored with the same old sup air ball / same old woodland games every time they play. Also, the site I marshall at ( http://www.ypc.co.uk/ ) has a predator - go to the site and there's a pic on the main page. Its novelties like this that really attract players and keep em coming back for more (or for revenge).

Then, on the creature comforts side, decent toilets, large safe area with adequate space covered for winter and open for summer.

Cheap food, drink, paint etc.

Good marshalling - if marshalls get annoyed with players then it winds up the players more and so on and so on. Conversely, if players are having fun and laughing, joking, talking to the marshalls etc then it makes everyone more relaxed and have more fun.

Thats all I've got for now,

Tom
