okay dudes, i used Draxxus midnight quite a lot before i got a cocker, and i am hoping to use it again, as the site i play as sells it. thing is, i don't wanna end up with balls rolling out of the end of my barrel (something like that would irrtate the arse off of me) when i point the gun to the ground. so what bore sized barrel do i need to stop this happening with Draxxus midnight paint? and also, if you had a .689 barrel and you bough .689 bore paint, would the ball roll out of the end of the barrel, or would it stay in the barrel and come out when you gently blow on it? Cheers, Chris

Buy a barrel kit with a range of bore sizes. Even if the paint says its a .689 it may not necessarily be exactly that size, due to how it is stored or even the weather on the day.

Your best bet is to have a range of bores and select the best bore for the paint on the day if you are that worried about paint rolling out of the barrel. Of course you could just keep your gun up... which would stop you getting caught unawares as well as saving that ball ;)

yeah but nevertheless, i'm just so stupidly obsessed with getting everything on my gun to go right, and that includes the right bore. lol. i was thinking of the 7 piece Empire barrel kit, but i won't have enough dough for it for 3 months...

From experience that is the only way you'll do it. Paint size varies so much between batches and even between cases that you need to have a range of bores available to suit the paint you use each time. Of course you could just live with it and get a huge bore and never have to worry about the barrel being TOO small. :)

sorry to say you cant guarrantee that any brand of paint will be the same bore size from batch to batch....it can and does change, also the weather plays a part in it too.
only way to get a good match is have more barrels
