Doesnt shorting the circuit mean that you make a by pass thru some of the resistors and hence wudn't it just blow after a while becuase to much current is flowing through the board?

yeh bud ive done the mod to a spare board for a laugh but im yet to try it out for real it doesnt really look like something you'd want to use in a tourney im not convinced its that much faster than a v35 or an angry.

it does work and have tried it but as jamie said after doing it smashed the drive cone and paint (powerball site paint) to bits,and the motor burned itself out,

and on the real down side it eats batts so fast,

(im on the way to finding a better motor for the halo and the egg

try it guys but you will be eating motors,cones and batts like no end

you can put a tamiya hyper dash II motor in the halo they make it faster the only problem is getting the old drive pully off the motor you have to break the old motor to get it off. not much point in the long run

Guys, don't do this mod.

It bypasses the voltage regulator.

It can ruin your board AND your motor, and break paint because it spins so fast. It also doesn't feed as well when you are running low on paint because it will popcorn balls around in the loader rather than catching them and feeding them out.

It may look fast and good with no paint in it, but once you use it with paint on a gun you won't see any advantages.

I don't want people breaking their loaders.

Actually go ahead and do this mod... we sell new boards, motors and drive cones...

there are a few more mods than that but yes the hyper dash 2 is a good motor but i have found a few others that work much better

eggs:- right im not sure how nexus did it but im have had enoght of fecking around with servos for eggs i seem to keep stripping cogs or burning out motors or making it to fast so its a blender its a pain,nexus can not be using the std plastic cogs within the servo,cos they dont fit cos ive tried it,so its is eather a motor from the states,or a set of metal cogs that no one in the uk can get hold of,

im trying to rember how it did it for my old egg cos that did work,trying to rember who i sold it to,

anyone from nexus care to say how they did it done???

but anyway on a good note anyone with a std egg y or z board that wonts to make it tiny bit faster without rebuilding servos,i have done a mod to the paddle that does work,

i will show a pic and make a new thread when i have finished it and found somone selling a egg motor cheap

so how do you know the motors work better if you haven't tested them?
